•  Do you have a backup for your computer and network system ???
  • Does your backup system still use outdated tapes, that take for every and not very reliable

  •  Does your backup system provide more of challenge then a continuous Data protection Recovery plan.???

  • Does your back just collect dust; because no one in our office want to really learn how to use it ??

  • Do you have a backup system but really don't want to talk about it ; because you really are not sure if you are even backing up and don't want the boss to know ???

  •  Does the  issue of cost scare you; because you feel you will probably never need a data backup or Disaster   Recovery option

Fact:  Did you know that the business that don't have backup disaster recovery solution will need them ???

Fact:  Did you know that it's these same businesses that say it's too much ; that actually can't afford to go without having one.

Why do I need a good backup solution ??? It's not for when things are running perfectly but instead for when a disaster happens.

What is a disaster in terms of computer, server or network ???

Excellent question:  Suppose the hard drive in your PC where to crash, a new virus where to make all your computers inoperable or your server were to catch on fire

We at The JMOR Connection, Inc know how  many of you may not want to spend for a good CDP but also know that if you don't you may not be in business to share your story..

Why should you get a CDP instead of a basic backup system; simple

  • Continuous data backup is a CDP or continuous data protection solution
  • Your hardware is going to fail some day and if you are not backed up you will wish you were
  • The data on your machine may not ever be able to re-created as there may be too many factors, time, money or the conditions for which you obtained them are not possible any more.

A CDP; is a special type of back solution that takes into account that it's not just important to have a local backup but also an easy use disaster recovery solution offsite.

Wouldn't it be nice to get a file or folder back on your laptop; by just a few clicks; and if that on-site box failed; it could always be obtained by the off site mirrored copy.

A CDP gets its name for another a main reason you will want one:  Continuous Data Protection.
Your data will be backed up within minutes of you making changes to files; so there is no more need to have a scheduled backup; it backs-up when you change things.

We still have scheduled backups for databases and things of that sort; but an average computer user is usually interrupted so many times because the either a)  forgot to backup, b)  forgot to insert the media c) Put the wrong tape in d)  Has no time backup; because they run a 24 hour operation and their computer is always on with someone doing something.

True; we can make excuses all day long for why you don't want a CDP, but when push comes to shove  wouldn't the investment of less then $10.00 a day be worth it; or would you rather pay an undermined higher amount with no assurance you will get your data back.

Once a CDP or continuous backup protection recovery solution is installed in your office by our technicians you will appreciate that you don't have to do anything except look at a report if you want to.  The CDP will operate totally on its own; alert you via e-mail if anything needs attention.
